Son Cubano - the symbol for Cuba
Son Cubano is lyric son, fast guaracha, romantic bolero, son
montuno,
swinging mambo, lively cha cha cha, rural guajira, percussive afro - and more
than traditional Cuban music. Cohimbre represents the symbol for Cuba with heart
and soul.
Magical Cuban Son
With an extensive repertoire of songs written by group members themselves
as
well as son classics like Guantanamera, Hasta Siempre, Dos Gardenias und Yolanda,
Cohimbre electrifies its audience.

Musicians
Cohimbre was founded in 1994 in Colombia (Las Tunas) by the brothers Leonel
and Luis Oliva Salas and Juan Carlos Núñez Hinojosa. In 1997 Cohimbre
gained official recognition as professional band.
